Ripley, the lone survivor of the Nostromo’s fatal encounter with the Alien, reemerges on Earth after fifty-seven years adrift in hypersleep, only to find her account doubted. Nevertheless, she joins a Colonial Marine squad returning to LV-426, a planet shrouded in dread and danger, to confront the creature’s lair and avenge the deaths that haunt her.
