Burlesque

In "Burlesque" (2010), Cher's directorial debut, Ali (Julianne Hough) flees her mundane existence for the glittering promise of Los Angeles, where she finds employment as a cocktail waitress at the struggling Burlesque Lounge. As she navigates the club's sultry performances and befriends its charismatic performers, including the alluring aspiring star Roxie (Kristen Bell), Ali transforms from a naive outsider into a confident dancer, ultimately reviving the theater's faded glamour.
