Chabot Jazz Combo Concert featuring Jo Major

Chabot College’s Music Department wrapped up its small-group performances for the Fall 2025 semester with an intimate, deeply collaborative evening at the campus Recital Hall, featuring a standout regional guest artist. Jo Major: Bringing veteran artistry to the stage, the acclaimed guest soloist collaborated directly with the student groups. Known for deep musicality and command over improvisation, Major stepped into the tight-knit combo settings, trading solos and anchoring the ensembles' live arrangements.
