Chabot Salsa Jazz Concert with Andy Martin

Chabot College closed out its Spring 2025 semester instructions with an explosive, rhythm-heavy night of Afro-Cuban rhythms and Latin jazz at the Performing Arts Center, featuring one of the industry's most prolific brass players. Andy Martin: One of the most in-demand trombonists in the music business, Martin brought his world-class technique and virtuosity to the East Bay. A prominent Los Angeles studio legend, his extensive resume includes playing lead trombone for Gordon Goodwin's Big Phat Band, appearing on soundtracks for over 150 major motion pictures, and anchoring the brass section on hit TV shows like Dancing With The Stars and American Idol.
