This film by Jorge Bedoya Forga (Arequipa, 1902 - New York, 1968), a pioneer of amateur 8mm filmmaking in Peru, was shot around 1932 and contains various views of Chicago, Niagara Falls, and New York. It prominently features the recently constructed Empire State Building, considered at the time the tallest in the world, which in 1933 would be the setting for an iconic scene in the film King Kong.
