Children of Heaven

In Masoud Hanafi's tender 1997 drama "Children of Heaven," Ali, a young boy from a modest Tehran family, swaps his shoes with his sister Zohre after losing hers in a careless moment. Their impoverished household cannot afford a replacement, and the siblings devise a precarious solution: sharing a single pair of shoes.
