A newsreel from the 1940s depicts the inaugural ceremony of the National Tourism Corporation's Vacation Plan, which aimed to offer trips to various regions of Peru for professionals, employees, students, and families. The event took place at the La Hostería country hotel in Chosica. Raúl Beraún, head of the Vacation Office, introduced Mr. Benjamín Roca Muelle, the corporation's managing director. The film also shows the journey to the San Pedro Ruins (Ricardo Palma).
