Demolition Man

In 1996, L.A. detective John Spartan and sociopathic killer Simon Phoenix are cryogenically imprisoned for a botched rescue mission. Three decades later, Phoenix's escape from his icy prison sets off a manhunt through a sanitized, hyper-regulated future Los Angeles. Spartan, thawed and disoriented, confronts a world unrecognizable to his rough-and-tumble sensibilities, where he must navigate the sleek, sterile streets to recapture Phoenix, whose anarchic presence threatens to shatter the city's utopian facade.
