Driven unfolds as Jimmy Bly, a promising race-car driver, descends from the pinnacle of the sport, his faltering performance a casualty of sibling pressure and romantic entanglements. As his brother's ambitions and a tempestuous affair with his rival's girlfriend complicate his life, car owner Carl Henry enlists the aid of Joe Tanto, a seasoned former racer haunted by a near-fatal accident. Tanto’s mission to restore Bly’s glory is as much an excavation of his own past trauma as it is a push for renewed triumph on the racetrack.
