This film by Jorge Bedoya Forga (Arequipa, 1902 - New York, 1968), a pioneer of amateur 8mm filmmaking in Peru, was shot around 1933 and records views of an excursion to Pichu Pichu, one of the three guardian volcanoes of Arequipa. One of the recurring features in several of his films is his interest in documenting notable events and/or important places in the city he lived in.
