“Giving big businesses a run for their money!”
Fun with Dick and Jane (2005) reimagines the 1970s classic as a satirical take on corporate greed and suburban malaise. When Dick Harper, a middle-aged executive, loses his job in a corporate scandal, he and his wife Jane turn to crime to salvage their finances and dignity. Their descent into thievery is both absurd and oddly exhilarating, as the couple, smart and resourceful, find themselves enjoying the rush of rebellion. Yet, when they learn of the executive's corrupt machinations, their moral compass reasserts itself, complicating their path to justice and redemption.
