Gangster Squad

In 1949 Los Angeles, Brooklyn-born mob boss Mickey Cohen monopolizes the city's illicit trades, from narcotics to prostitution, with the aid of corrupt law enforcement and political figures. His empire is challenged only by a clandestine group of LAPD renegades, including Sgt. John O'Mara and Jerry Wooters, who resolve to dismantle Cohen's dominion, despite the daunting threat of his extensive influence and lethal enforcers.
