“The wrong man. In the wrong place. At the right time.”
Richard Dreyfuss stars as Adrian Cronauer, a brash and irreverent radio DJ who arrives in Saigon in 1965 to work for the Armed Forces Radio Service. Cronauer's unconventional sense of humor and his infectious enthusiasm quickly win him fans among the troops, but his superiors are less impressed with his antics. Directed by Barry Levinson, "Good Morning, Vietnam" is a sharp and witty satire that uses the backdrop of the Vietnam War to explore themes of freedom of expression and the clash between authority and individuality.
