Seat Trouble

Koltuk Belası, a political satire from 1990, unfolds through the eyes of a red leather chair, a silent witness to the corruption and decay of governance. As various governors pass through, each more corrupt than the last, the chair remains steadfast, a passive observer of the escalating moral bankruptcy. The film culminates in a fiery denouement, as the final governor, in a fit of rage, incinerates the chair, symbolically eradicating the last vestige of truth. Through its unassuming narrator, the film critiques the cyclical nature of political deceit and the futility of resistance.
