“The groove is on the move.”
Kronk's New Groove (2005) sees the dim-witted yet lovable Kronk, a sidekick from the previous Disney outing, stepping into the spotlight. Struggling to keep his eccentric new diner afloat and haunted by the looming arrival of his critical father, Kronk concocts an ambitious plan for instant success. When his harebrained scheme blows up—literally—he must navigate a cacophony of alter egos to find genuine contentment. A slapstick sequel that revels in absurdity and self-awareness, it’s a bright, if somewhat predictable, entry in the franchise.
