Last Action Hero

Last Action Hero (1993) is a meta-action comedy that sees a young boy, whose solace in life lies within the escapism of action films, whisked into the celluloid world of his idol, an indestructible cop. Armed with a magic ticket from his local theater manager, the boy joins forces with the hero to thwart a nefarious villain, only to find that the line between reality and fiction blurs when the antagonist breaches the cinematic realm and wreaks havoc in the real world.
