Les Petits pifferari

A poor, destitute widow sends her two young children across the French border to earn a living by themselves. Along the way, they meet a priest who blesses them, then a traveling musician takes them under his wing, and our three nomads set off from cafés to casinos along the French Riviera. Soon, they return to their native village, enriched by a small nest egg that will help them live until the next season.
