Linda Linda Linda offers a brisk, tuneful glimpse into the pressures and pleasures of Japanese high school life, centred on a band rehearsing for their school's cultural festival. With only days left, guitarist Kei, drummer Kyoko, and bassist Nozomi must quickly train their new vocalist, Son, an earnest but barely fluent Korean exchange student. The trio's rocky progress towards mastering The Blue Hearts' "Linda Linda" and two other songs frames a story of friendship, cultural barriers, and the fleeting camaraderie of youth.
