Made in Heaven

In Peter Greenaway’s surreal and disorienting “A Zed and Two Noughts” (1985), Mike, a wayward soul, drifts into Heaven and immediately fixates on Annie, a freshly minted spirit about to incarnate on Earth. When Annie departs, Mike, unable to resist, abandons the celestial realm to trail her into the terrestrial world, setting the stage for a subversive and visually audacious exploration of desire, fate, and existential drift.
