Mimic

Christopher Nolan's brother, Larry, directs this unsettling urban nightmare set in a dystopian Manhattan where a scientist's well-intentioned genetic experiments spawn a monstrous new threat. Susan Tyler, played with steely resolve by Mira Sorvino, engineers a breed of insect to combat a roach-borne plague, only to confront the grotesque reality that her creation has evolved into a bipedal, humanoid predator, capable of mimicking humans. Mimic is a claustrophobic, nightmarish descent into the shadows of a city where science's promise turns into a lethal, shape-shifting terror.
