Norbit

Eddie Griffin's "Norbit" is a broad comedy about a timid man, Norbit, trapped in an abusive marriage to the fearsome Rasputia. Desperate for happiness, Norbit falls in love with the sweet Karma but finds himself ensnared between his heart's desires and Rasputia's ironclad control. The film skewers toxic relationships and the lengths to which some will go for love and freedom, all wrapped in a candy-coated, slapstick package.
