Planet of the Apes

Astronaut Taylor crashes on a distant planet dominated by apes who exploit a primitive human populace for both research and entertainment. Captured and subjected to the same indignities as the humans he encounters, Taylor's fate shifts when a sympathetic chimpanzee scientist intervenes, challenging the ape hierarchy's cruel norms and the very nature of sentience and power.
