In the fifth installment of the Police Academy franchise, the academy's misfit recruits are dispatched to Miami Beach to honor Commandant Lassard with a lifetime achievement award before his retirement. Their visit turns chaotic when Lassard inadvertently becomes a pawn in a jewel heist, leaving the bumbling squad to navigate the glitz and grit of Miami Beach in a bid to clear their mentor's name and recover the stolen diamonds.
