Quills

Set in the early 19th century, "Quills" centres on the Marquis de Sade, incarcerated in an asylum yet defiantly penning subversive literature that escapes his confines. As the Abbé, a reformist priest, grapples with Sade’s influence, a doctor is dispatched to quell the revolutionary writings. The film delves into a tense dance of desire, power, and censorship, with Sade’s pen pitted against the forces of repression.
