Rio Bravo

John Wayne stars as Sheriff John T. Chance, a stalwart lawman in the dusty confines of Rio Bravo who faces down the brother of a notorious outlaw after an arrest. With him stands Dude (Dean Martin), a former gunslinger now reduced to drinking; Colorado Territory (Walter Brennan), a sprightly old-timer bedridden by a leg injury; and Vin (Ricky Nelson), a brash young recruit. Together, this unlikely quartet fortifies their jail against waves of would-be rescuers, each man's character and resolve tested by the mounting tension and imminent threat of violence.
