Shiri

Shiri (1999) pits South Korea's secret intelligence service, O.P., against North Korea's 8th Special Forces in a tense cat-and-mouse game over CTX, a deadly liquid explosive. Special agents Ryu and Lee race to thwart a hijacking and prevent a terrorist plot aimed at re-unifying the Korean peninsula through violence. Adding to the chaos, the enigmatic Hee, an 8th Special Forces sniper, emerges to cause havoc and haunt Ryu personally, intertwining political stakes with personal vendettas.
