Something's Gotta Give

Something's Gotta Give (2003) sees aging playboy Harry Sanborn and his young girlfriend, Marin, arrive at Erica Barry's secluded Hamptons beach house, only to find Erica herself in residence. The playwright is appalled by Harry's boorish behavior and Marin's acquiescence, but her contempt turns to concern when Harry suffers a heart attack. Prescribed bed rest, Harry finds himself under Erica's watchful eye, and as the weekend progresses, the platonic relationship between them evolves into something more profound, challenging both their preconceptions and the status quo of their lives.
