The Collector

In "The Collector" (2009), an ex-con, desperate to settle a debt with his ex-wife, plans a heist at his employer's secluded estate. Unbeknownst to him, another criminal has already infiltrated the home, setting lethal traps. The film unfolds as a tense, claustrophobic game of cat and mouse, where each move is a step closer to inevitable violence. Director Arnaud Bisso's debut is a taut exercise in suspense, where the unseen becomes the most terrifying presence.
