The Flesh

The Flesh (1991) charts a disquieting romance between a pianist and a curvaceous stranger whose unconventional intimacy leaves the man paralyzed and perpetually aroused. As ennui sets in, she relieves his condition, only to abandon him when her capricious nature reasserts itself. Director Tinto Brass crafts a claustrophobic, sensual nightmare where desire and repulsion blur, and the boundaries of consent dissolve into mutual exploitation.
