Lord Beric Dondarrion is the head of House Dondarrion and Lord of Blackhaven, a knight of the Stormlands originally charged by Eddard Stark with bringing Ser Gregor Clegane to justice. From the survivors of that mission he forms and leads the Brotherhood Without Banners, an outlaw band that fights for the smallfolk of the Riverlands.
A devout follower of the Lord of Light, Beric is repeatedly slain and restored to life by the red priest Thoros of Myr, and is known for wielding a flaming sword. His campaigns and journeys are recorded in the Timeline.
