Brandon "Bran" Stark is the fourth child and second son of Eddard and Catelyn Stark of Winterfell, and one of the principal characters of Game of Thrones. Left paralyzed as a boy, he grows into a warg and greenseer, ultimately succeeding to the mantle of the Three-Eyed Raven and its vast knowledge of past and present.
Bran's journey carries him from Winterfell to the lands beyond the Wall in pursuit of his visions, and eventually back south, where he is chosen to rule as King Bran I the Broken over the Six Kingdoms. He is depicted as quiet, watchful, and increasingly detached from ordinary human concern as his powers deepen.
