Lord Damon Lannister, known as the Grey Lion, appears in the HBO series A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms. He is the Lord of Casterly Rock and head of House Lannister during the reign of King Daeron II Targaryen, and a renowned tourney knight.
He attends the tourney at Ashford Meadow with his son Tybolt Lannister. In the underlying tales by George R. R. Martin he is an ancestor of the later Lord Tywin Lannister.
