This Gold Cloak is a member of the City Watch of King's Landing who appears in the first season of A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, the HBO adaptation of George R. R. Martin's Dunk and Egg novellas. A Crownlander of smallfolk origin, he is later recalled by Duncan the Tall during his trial of seven.
The Gold Cloak helps the man Alester rob Rafe and Dunk, holding Dunk back while Alester kills Rafe, then wounds Dunk through the leg on Alester's order. He is stopped and quickly decapitated in a duel by Ser Arlan of Pennytree.
