Lady Crane is the leading mummer of Izembaro's Braavosi theater troupe, appearing in the sixth season of Game of Thrones. Elegant, charismatic and fond of rum, she portrays Queen Cersei Lannister in the troupe's play The Bloody Hand.
Arya Stark is assigned to assassinate her on a contract passed through Jaqen H'ghar. Watching the play and going backstage, Arya comes to like Crane and suspects the real target of the plot is a jealous younger actress, Bianca; she warns Crane away from the poisoned rum meant to kill her. Later, after Arya is stabbed by the Waif, Crane finds the wounded girl and tends her, dressing her wounds and giving her milk of the poppy.
The Waif discovers them and murders Lady Crane, slitting her throat, before resuming the hunt for Arya, who ultimately avenges Crane by killing the Waif.
