The Spice King is a wealthy spice merchant of Qarth and a member of the Thirteen, the ruling council of that city, appearing in Game of Thrones. He is never named on screen, claiming that foreigners find his name too difficult to pronounce.
He receives Daenerys Targaryen at the gates of Qarth and later declines her request to borrow his ships for a return to Westeros, judging her cause a poor investment.
