Walda Bolton, nee Frey and known as Fat Walda, is a granddaughter of Lord Walder Frey and the wife of Roose Bolton, Lord of the Dreadfort. Roose chose her from among Walder's granddaughters because she was offered with her own weight in silver as a dowry.
In Game of Thrones, Walda travels north to the Dreadfort and later to Winterfell, where her pregnancy threatens the inheritance of her stepson Ramsay. After Ramsay murders his father Roose, he has Walda and her newborn son killed by his hounds in the kennels of Winterfell.
