Poppy Proudfellow is a Harfoot hobbit of the Second Age and a close friend of Elanor Brandyfoot, a character created for the television series The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power. Orphaned young after her family perished in a landslide, she travels with the nomadic community led by Sadoc Burrows across Rhovanion.
Cautious by nature, she nonetheless helps Elanor discover and care for the mysterious Stranger who falls from the sky, and stands by her friend as Elanor prepares to leave with him.
