Alicia Roanne Witt, an American actress, singer-songwriter, and pianist, was a child prodigy who spoke by age two and read by four. Director David Lynch spotted her reciting Shakespeare on That's Incredible! at five and cast her as Alia in his 1984 film "Dune," where she was eight.
