Amber Beaton

Amber Beaton is an award winning music video director turned documentary filmmaker.

Over a 16-year career, Amber has directed hundreds of music videos, developing a distinctive, haunting style rooted in moody, emotionally charged imagery. Because of this, her work has found a strong home in alternative, metal, and hard rock music scenes, collaborating with artists including Chelsea Wolfe, Divide and Dissolve, Beastwars, and Euringer.

Not surprisingly, her transition into feature documentaries expands on these dark themes long present in her work: the intersection of trauma, loss, grief and love.
