Amy Schumer

Amy Schumer, born in Manhattan and raised on Long Island, graduated from South Side High School in 1999 and Towson University in 2003, where she honed her theater skills. Moving to New York, she studied at the William Esper Studio and worked odd jobs before gaining traction through stand-up comedy, notably appearing on Last Comic Standing in 2011. Her breakout came with a Comedy Central special, launching her into the spotlight as a fearless comic, known for her candid take on life and relationships, often drawing from personal experiences like battling breast cancer in her off-Broadway debut.
