Anthony Perkins

Anthony Perkins, born in 1932, rose to prominence through his Oscar-nominated performance in "Friendly Persuasion" and his iconic portrayal of Norman Bates in "Psycho." His early career saw collaborations with stars like Henry Fonda and Audrey Hepburn before he ventured to Europe, where he starred alongside Ingrid Bergman and Brigitte Bardot. Returning to Hollywood in 1968, he continued to work with notable actors such as Diana Ross and Jeff Goldblum, and co-wrote "The Last of Sheila" in 1973. Perkins's accolades included a Golden Globe and a Cannes Award, though his career was cut short by AIDS complications in 1992.
