
Antonia Sofía Silva Alvarado is a Mexican filmmaker and stop-motion animator. She has worked as an animator on nationally and internationally acclaimed independent short films, as well as on the Adult Swim series Mujeres con Hombreras (2025) and I Am Frankelda (2025), the first Mexican stop-motion feature film. She was selected for the Young Creators Program of FONCA and Talents Guadalajara at the Guadalajara International Film Festival (FICG). In 2026, she was awarded the Jenkins-Del Toro Scholarship, one of Mexico's most prestigious grants for emerging filmmakers. She has also served as a Young Jury member at several film festivals, including the 34th edition of FICG, the Black Canvas Festival, and Cinegro Festival.
