Joining Shaw Brothers in 1974, Leung's collaboration with Sammo Hung marked a significant period, earning him a reputation as a prodigious kung fu performer capable of mastering complex choreography instantly. As the martial arts genre waned in popularity, Leung transitioned into character roles, sustaining a career well into the mid-1990s.
