Bryan Leung Kar-Yan, born on January 20, 1949, is a Hong Kong actor and director celebrated for his roles in martial arts cinema, particularly during the 1970s and early 1980s. Joining Shaw Brothers in 1974, Leung's collaboration with Sammo Hung marked a significant period, earning him a reputation as a prodigious kung fu performer capable of mastering complex choreography instantly. As the martial arts genre waned in popularity, Leung transitioned into character roles, sustaining a career well into the mid-1990s.
