Chen Kun

Chen Kun, born in Chongqing in 1976, is a Chinese actor and singer known for his early musical talents that earned him a place in the China Oriental Song and Dance Ensemble in 1995. After enrolling at the Beijing Film Academy in 1996, he quickly established himself as a rising star. His portrayal of a character in "A West Lake Moment" earned him a Golden Horse Award nomination in 2005, and his role in "The Knot" secured him the Huabiao Film Award for Best Actor in 2007. In 2009, his depiction of Chiang Ching-kuo in the epic film "The Founding of a Republic" further cemented his reputation as a versatile and critically acclaimed performer.
