Connie Inge-Lise Nielsen, born in 1965, cut her acting teeth alongside her mother in Copenhagen’s revue and variety shows before relocating to Paris at 18, where she worked as an actress and model, expanding her linguistic repertoire to include English, French, German, Italian, Norwegian, and Swedish. Her breakthrough came with the role of Lucilla in Ridley Scott’s “Gladiator” (2000), and she reprised the part in the 2024 sequel.
