David Morse

David Bowditch Morse, born October 11, 1953, is an American actor whose career spans television, film, and theater. He rose to prominence as Dr. Jack "Boomer" Morrison in the medical drama "St. Elsewhere," and has since lent his talents to a diverse array of projects, from the cerebral "12 Monkeys" to the intense "The Hurt Locker." Notable roles include Detective Michael Tritter in "House," George Washington in the HBO miniseries "John Adams," and Uncle Peck in the Off-Broadway play "How I Learned to Drive," for which he won a Drama Desk and Obie Award. His versatility is further evidenced by his work on Broadway, in "The Seafarer," and his portrayal of Terry Colson in the HBO series "Treme."
