Dennis Christopher

Dennis Christopher, born Dennis Carrelli in Philadelphia in 1955, achieved prominence with his role as Dave Stohler in the coming-of-age film "Breaking Away" (1979), earning a Golden Globe nomination. His career spans nearly 40 films and television appearances, including "Chariots of Fire" and the disturbing portrayal of Eric Binford in "Fade to Black." Television roles have seen him in "Profiler," Stephen King's "It," and HBO's "Deadwood," among others. Christopher has guest-starred in multiple episodes of "Star Trek" and "Angel," and reprised his son role from Robert Altman's "A Wedding" in "Law & Order: Criminal Intent.
