Egbert Jan Weeber

Egbert-Jan Weeber, born in Haren, found his calling in the arts from a young age, playing theater classes at the local Center for Arts and Culture. At 14, a performance of Vooropleiding Theater at the Stadschouwburg van Groningen sealed his fate; he joined the troupe, launching a career marked by steady progression. By 2000, he appeared in the BNN Series Finals, followed by a Golden Calf nomination in 2001, and continued with roles in "Oesters van Nam Kee" and "Van God Losing." His portrayal of Prince William III in the historical film "Michiel de Ruyter" and his part in "If the Sun Explodes" underscore his range. Beyond acting, Weeber DJs at festivals since age sixteen, including Mysteryland and Amsterdam Dance Event, and has hosted radio shows like Spam on 3FM.
