Eihi Shiina, born in Fukuoka, Japan, in 1976, rose to prominence as a fashion model for Benetton in 1995 and later represented Japan at the Elite Model Look '95. Her transition to acting began with a role in the 1999 film "Dog-Food," followed by the publication of her book "No Filter, Only Eyes." Shiina gained international recognition for her chilling portrayal of Asami Yamazaki in Takashi Miike's "Audition" and further cemented her status with her starring role in the cult hit "Tokyo Gore Police.
