Renaming herself Sommer for easier pronunciation, she starred in over 90 films and television appearances, including "A Shot in the Dark" and "The Oscar," alongside Hollywood legends. Her career flourished with a Golden Globe for "The Prize" and frequent appearances on "The Dean Martin Show" and "The Tonight Show." In the 1970s, she transitioned to European cinema, starring in horror classics like "Lisa and the Devil" and British comedies like "Carry On Behind." Her later years saw her focus shift to art and voice acting, including the German version of "The Emperor's New Groove.
